Hello Patrons,

My name is Danielle Dubois, my partner is Daniel Washington, and together we are The Other side Diner. Our small family, with a lot of support, has purchased the diner from the Sueltenfusses! I worked for them for over a year until the opportunity to switch ownership became a dream come true. They are a lovely couple who wanted to step back and have more family time, and we are excited to carry on the torch of this family-run establishment with delicious food. Daniel and I have over 40 years of experience between us. I am a native Mainer, with heritage dating back to Scottish Pirates and Acadian Farmers. I have dedicated my life to studying food, flavors, and ingredients. Daniel is a German Native, who was adopted and raised in Colorado. He was an executive Sous Chef in Colorado before moving to Maine and working at the Miss Portland Diner for several years. We have a beautiful daughter, Aiyana Rose, who you will occasionally see helping us. (She's the boss so we have to be on our A game when she's around!) As a family, our favorite weather is rainbow weather, which we get a lot of being right on Casco Bay. Our diner family consists of old faces and new, and we look forward to feeding, learning from, and growing with the community. Thank you everyone for all your support. We couldn't do it without you!!!
